Hi, I am Bob, a Flight Examiner and Flight Instructor with over a decade of aviation experience. I specialize in providing customized training solutions across various locations, meticulously tailored to align with your aviation objectives and schedule.

I am readily available to provide a tailored quote upon request. I operate mainly in the South East Queensland area but have a degree of flexibility to travel to other locations.

Note: My training structure prefer students have their own aircraft or access to one available for hire at their selected training location.

    Already instructing? Take your qualifications further with our Night VFR Teaching Endorsement. This advanced add-on not only expands your instructional scope into nighttime operations—it also helps you tick off your Flight Instructor Proficiency Check (FPC) in the process.

    Our instructor rating courses also include an approved Preferred Methods of Instruction course which we can run as part of the rating or as a standalone subject.

  • Need to complete your Recreational or Private Pilot Licence flight test? Bob Yan is a CASA-approved Flight Examiner offering professional flight testing services for RPL and PPL candidates.

    Based in Queensland but available to travel, Bob is happy to work with flight schools across Australia to conduct tests at your location—saving you time and streamlining the process. If you’re a fixed wing training organisation in need of an examiner, please reach out for a quote!

  • Own a plane and need a biannual flight review? We offer fixed price flight reviews for SEA Class Rating, NVFR and PIFR Flight Reviews.

    Aircraft rental can be organised at extra cost pending availability.
